Cahal Pech

Here’s an ancient Mayan site in one of Belize’s major towns waiting to be explored. Cahal Pech Archaeological Reserve is located in San Ignacio, Cayo, with multiple Restaurants, Hotels, and Resorts in close proximity, making it an excellent place to visit even if you’re on a tight schedule.

If you are interested in exploring ancient Mayan Temples, then Cahal Pech Archaeological Reserve is well worth your time. It is located in a very peaceful location just outside of town, and is set up nicely for an easy stroll through it’s various sites. There are several areas prepared with picnic tables, so bring a snack and spend some time with family or friends, or climb the ancient Mayan ruins for some exercise and a better view!
